If you have a Shopify-based web store, you can import your database into Retention AI extremely easily, without needing to ask a developer for help.
Follow the steps, the integration path is intuitive, and you can execute it in just a few clicks!
Create your own App
Follow the path “Settings > App and sales channels” and create your own custom app
Agree to consent to develop a custom app
Click on “Create App”
Name it > “Retention AI”
In the “Configuration” panel
Click on “Configure” in the “API Integration section of the control panel.”
Flag the reading consents
We will need these two items: “read_orders” and “read_customers.”
Then in the “Records to webhooks” box > select the most recent version. Save.
Install the App
Proceed with the installation
Get the token to enter into the platform.
Please note: you will only be able to see the code the first time.
Save it, you will then have to paste it into Retention AI.
The other information you’ll need from Shopify is the backend url, including https://
Switch to Retention AI > Property Setup tab > click on “Edit property”
Fill in the required fields and paste the backend URL and API access token > Click “Continue”
Continue with the configuration of RFM values.
Choose whether to use ratings on 3 or 5 points
Set up your RFM analysis
Choose whether to consider all parameters: Recency, Frequency, Monetary
